I was a first-time customer and dealt with Pat only by phone as I had dropped the car off after hours. Pat called the next day to inform us that our oil leak was not a major one and that our brakes were fine (at least half their life left). He gave us the price of parts and labor and I gave the ok. He then called us back a couple of hours later to inform us that in fact the part (an oil sender) was actually $100 LESS than he had quoted us – that the dealer had quoted him the wrong price.Needless to say, his honesty on several fronts to a customer he had never seen was appreciated, and I wanted to pass that on. I plan on taking our car back to Nelson’s on a regular basis.
